BUILDING PERMIT
- Applications can be obtained from the Town Office during regular office hours.
- A building permit is required for the construction, erection, placement, renovation or reconstruction of a building. This includes but not limited to new building construction, garages, carports, modular homes, renovations, alterations and additions to existing buildings, relocation of an existing building, basement development, fire places and wood stoves, swimming pools, decks and sheds.
- Permits are not required for driveways, sidewalks, replacement of windows, doors, roofing and siding not affecting the structural, electrical or mechanical systems, garden and tool sheds not exceeding 100 square feet or 9.2903 square meters.
- Permits must be approved by Council before starting the project. Starting a project before obtaining a permit can result in increased fees, as well as time and expense to change plans.

DEMOLITION/MOVING PERMIT
